Matthew obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree at Dalhousie University’s
Schulich School of Law in 2010, and was called to the bar in Ontario in
2011.
After working for several years with law firms in Hamilton and Kitchener-
Waterloo, in 2016 Matthew became a partner with Woynarski Szymura
Kelly LLP. Matthew provides sound legal advice and assistance to a variety
of individuals and business, and his practice areas include civil litigation,
employment law, family law (including collaborative practice), and wills and
estates. Matthew has successfully represented clients at all levels of court
in the Province of Ontario, including the Court of Appeal.
In addition to practicing law, Matthew is also an accredited Family Mediator
and a Dispute Resolution Officer with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice
(Brampton).
Matthew has a passion for community engagement and over the years, has
regularly volunteered with a number of charitable and not-for-profit
organizations in both Nova Scotia and Ontario.
He is currently a trustee with the Waterloo Region Law Association, where
he also serves as Treasurer. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys golfing,
reading, and watching sports.
